Soon To Open Restaurants in the Dimond

I heard from an on-line little bird last night that Naan: the Indian Restaurant on Fruitvale between WaMu and the Dimond Cafe is set to open next week, either on Monday or Tuesday. They've taken a while longer than they first projected to open. Most likely because of the state of the building. I'm looking forward to checking out their menu.

I noticed walking around today that the Little Ceasar's, going in at 2216 MacArthur between Cafe Dieum and Radio Shack is looking close to completed. Here's a picture I snapped trying to get an even better view of how it's coming along. I'm not that excited about LC's - we have more than enough of such to-go food shops in the Dimond AND I'm glad that a new business is coming in.

Yay! I can't wait for the Indian food joint to open and I feel the same about the Little Ceaser's. Did they happen to not notice the other pizza joint on the opposite corner?

Can't wait for the litter of pizza boxes to waste away on the curbs and streets. Ugh.

I'd be worried about you if you were excited about Little Ceaser's

Perhaps I am the only one that thinks the Little Ceaser's is better than the trashed out hole that was there. I knew the owner of a Little Ceaser in Phoenix and they have such strict guidelines about how they must keep the store up. I really felt like it was better to have them there than the graffiti-ed trashed hole that is currently there. And yes I do like the pizza. Call me odd. Call me bucking the majority. I will eat there. And yes, I do eat the fish sandwich at MacDonald's.

Perhaps this is why my v-word is dedour. Fate is trying to tell me something?

HA HA.. I didn't get it right and now my v-word is crises. REALLY.

I posted Owen Li's excellent report about the new Little Caesar's restaurant on the Dimond message board in the " Dimond Business District News" section

Thanks Tim for the online report about LC's. CD, I say to each his/her own...wether pizzas, sushi, triple lattes or corndogs.
